little bear

after taking inspiration from Hel Covell, i decided to try and make myself a little bear from my drawings. i really wanted to do this as i think that sometimes 3D art evokes more feeling than 2D. especially in this case as i think it is an important subject, so the first thing that they see is the cute bear and then the arrow shows the meaning of him.

i was actually going to have the arrow sticking out of his body at first, like in the drawing, however i was having trouble molding the clay so i decided to bake the body first so that i could work from it adding the head and legs without the body getting warped. however that meant that i forgot about the arrows.... DOH. in the future i will make sure to plan before doing silly mistakes like this. i will also look into getting high end glue so i can stick anything on later on in case i forget something again.
