i discovered ani costillo whilst researching animal cruelty illustration and stumbled across her tumblr page. i found this really adorable image.



i really love this image for its naive nature and the raw feelings that i can get from it. you can really tell that this illustration was made without anything in mind other than the animals. i want this to come across in my illustrations, that i do really really care about animals, which i do. 

i think looking at artists like ani costillo who are not normally artists that i would look at is really interesting and makes my project more diverse.
